Integrations & Interfaces

3 Story Software can integrate or interface with client enterprise systems and software applications from finance, HR, procurement, portfolio management, other applicant tracking applications and various compliance systems.

We have interfaces for common ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft; for procurement systems like Ariba; and for timeclocks from vendors like Chronos. So chances are we already have a solution for whatever system you're using.

3SS runs hundreds of file transfers every day, most of which are scheduled and run automatically. Our system also allows clients, or their MSP, to run integrations on demand.

Key Components of Our Approach

  • An API-based solution to import or export data from the 3SS application to another application using calls to retrieve XML-formatted data. Our web services platform forms the foundation for most of our integration. Transmitting or receiving data in nearly any file format, it unpacks and validates the information using our import engine (at no cost to you).

    Interfaces or integrations with other client systems such as procurement, financial, HRIS and recruitment systems, can be accommodated through batch transfers, web services or deeper integrations. Some of our current integrations include SAP, ServiceNow, JDE, Oracle and SAP SuccessFactors.

  • File Transfers

    Automated and scheduled delivery of imports and exports in various standard file types using secure file transfer protocols.

    Batch Updates

    3SS accepts batch files in CSV format on a scheduled or Ad Hoc basis. Updates are typically scheduled nightly or weekly but may be set for any frequency needed by the client. 3SS will poll the secure server looking for new files. All transfers are done using SFTP.

  • Single sign-on (SSO) is a session and user authentication service that permits a user to use one set of login credentials (e.g., name and password) to access multiple applications.

    User will use an URL or Link to access 3SS application and would be redirected to Identity provider Login page for user validation. Once validation is done, control would be redirected back to 3SS with a Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) message. Then SAML message would be validated at 3SS end and if successful then the user would be taken directly to Home page.

  • A Dell integration middleware product to connect custom and purchased applications. Boomi connections include Oracle HCM, SAP, NetSuite, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Workday, and more.
